Chester County Youth Wind Ensemble
A community band for middle school students who are looking for additional performance opportunities.

The purpose of this post is to ask for your help in spreading the word about this ensemble. I need help in two areas:
1. Recruitment – in order for the ensemble to happen, we need kids to participate! If you know any students (Chester County or surrounding areas) going into 6th-8th grade who play brass, woodwind, or percussion instruments – tell them about this ensemble!
2. Financial support – unfortunately starting and running an ensemble like this isn’t cheap. While the students will be paying a participation fee, I’d like to keep it as low as possible. I’ve started a project with Kickstarter (an online “funding platform for creative projects”) in hopes of raising enough money to get this ensemble off the ground and make it something that Chester County students can really be proud of. Every donation, even $5, helps!
